Is it possible that flat surfaces just collect stuff without our knowledge? That they have some sort of stuff "gravity" that scientists have yet to identify? Maybe stores should sell furniture with no flat surfaces. I will go to great lengths to absolve myself from blame :)
Here's another newly clean (but not dusted) surface in my office.
In my house growing up we labelled it "horizontal collectic". The theory is that every horizontal surface collects. I continue to fight against this problem. Good luck in your battle!!
